The story of our company is the very embodiment of the American Dream. Like many immigrant groups in our country’s history, the ‘Tapia Brothers’ began their journey in the restaurant industry. After many years of hard work and dedication, they ascended through the ranks and came to be owners and operators of their very own restaurants. With an entrepreneurial spirit at their very core, they were unsatisfied with the level of service and commitment from their various suppliers and sought to fill this perceived need.

In 1985, Tapia Brothers Company was founded with the ambition to redefine the food service experience by placing a premium on relationships over profits, unparalleled product quality, and by recruiting and retaining the most dedicated employees into their family. Over the last 25 years, Tapia Brothers family has grown to represent over 200 employees and encompass four distribution facilities servicing the Western United States totaling more than 250,000 square feet.
